Australian & International Art

Lawsons conducts a Fine Art Auction on the last Friday of the month. The Fine Art Auction features Australian Colonial, Modern, Contemporary, Aboriginal and Tribal Art art along with a range of European works.

Artworks can be consigned throughout the month on any Monday or Tuesday up until the week before the auction. Our art specialists will appraise the works suitable for the Fine Art Auction or for the General Painting Auction conducted every Friday.

Appraisal Afternoons
If you are considering selling your artwork/s, Lawsons will provide a free initial estimate of its auction value. Our specialists can appraise Australian and International works of art in all mediums.

Every Thursday afternoon from 1.00pm - 5.00pm our specialists are available to conduct obligation-free appraisals at our Sydney offices.
Photos of artworks can be posted or emailed to Martin Farrah for valuations. Please provide a clear photograph of each item including the dimensions, artist's signature, medium, physical condition and any other relevant information. Please send copies as photos cannot be returned.
Alternatively, if neither of these methods are convenient for you, please call our office to make an individual appointment.

Our specialists are also available to visit you, generally at no cost, however, a fee may be charged based on the scope and diversity of your collection.
